Terms and conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms apply to the orders placed on the 3dcoco.ro site. Please read them before you order, together with the Returns, Delivery and Privacy pages.
The seller
The 3dcoco.ro site (3D Coco) is run by OFICE DESIGN TEAM SRL, with its registered office at Municipiul Buzău, Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu, Bloc 1, Ap. 2, Județ Buzău, registered in the Trade Register under no. J10/77/30.01.2020, unique registration code (CUI) 42179654.
You can write to us at team@3dcoco.ro or through the contact form of the site. We email you only about your orders and your account: we do not send advertising or newsletters, and we will never ask for your account password.
Ordering and the contract
On the site you can order ready-made products from the shop, the 3D printing of a model you upload, and 3D modelling services, on a quote. The steps of an order are:
- Add the products you want to the cart: a shop product or an uploaded model, with the material and quantity you choose. For modelling, send a request and we send you a quote with the price.
- In the cart, check the products, quantities and prices; you can change or remove them at any time before you send the order.
- At checkout, enter your contact details and delivery address and choose the payment method. Before you send the order you see its summary, with the total price and the delivery cost; if something is wrong, correct it in the form or go back to the cart.
- Send the order. If you pay by card, the payment is then made on the order page, through Stripe.
- We confirm the order by email.
The contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation email: right after you send the order if you pay cash on delivery, or once the payment is confirmed if you pay by card. For modelling, the contract is formed when you approve the quote.
We keep the order and you can look it up at any time: in your account, if you have one, and in the confirmation email, which contains its summary. You can ask us for a copy at any time at team@3dcoco.ro.
The contract is concluded in Romanian. If the Romanian text of these terms and their English translation differ, the Romanian text prevails. You must be at least 18 years old to order.
Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are shown in lei (RON). The prices shown are final. OFICE DESIGN TEAM SRL is not a VAT payer.
The delivery cost, RON 15.00 per order, is added to the price of the products; delivery is free when the value of the products is over RON 300.00. The delivery cost and the total price you pay are shown in the cart and in the order summary, before you send the order.
The minimum order value is RON 20.00, excluding delivery.
You can pay by card, online, through the payment processor Stripe (your card details never reach us), or cash on delivery, to the FAN Courier driver. For an order paid by card, production starts once the payment is confirmed.
We issue an invoice for every order and send it to you by email.
Production and delivery
The production time depends on the order and the model. We give it to you as an estimate when we confirm the order or in the quote, and it is never more than 30 days. If we exceed it, you can cancel the order and we refund the full amount you paid. We deliver through FAN Courier, to addresses in Romania only.
The delivery times, costs and transport risk are described on the Delivery page.
Cancelling an order and the right of withdrawal
For shop products, the right of withdrawal ends 14 calendar days after the day you receive the product; after that we no longer take a product back without a reason, except a defective product, which the legal guarantee of conformity covers for 2 years from delivery.
You can cancel any order free of charge until production starts (for modelling, until the work starts) by writing to team@3dcoco.ro; if you have already paid, we refund the full amount. Once production has started, orders to print your own file can no longer be cancelled, because the parts are made to your specifications and carry no right of withdrawal. The exception is a parcel refused on delivery or that cannot be delivered: the order is cancelled, parts printed from your file included, at no cost to you; if you paid by card, we refund the full amount paid. For modelling, once the work has started you can still withdraw within 14 days of approving the quote; if you expressly asked us to start the work within that period, you pay an amount in proportion to the work done up to the withdrawal; the right of withdrawal ends once the modelling has been fully performed. The direct cost of returning a shop product is paid by you.
3D Coco may refuse or cancel an order only for one of the reasons below, which we tell you by email. If you have already paid, we refund the full amount.
- the order is for a prohibited object (see Prohibited orders) or for a file that infringes another person's rights;
- the file cannot be printed (for example, its geometry is damaged or the part is larger than we can print);
- the product is no longer available or cannot be made for technical reasons;
- an order to be paid by card has not been paid;
- there are serious signs of fraud.
You can also withdraw online, using Withdraw from contract here, at any time within the withdrawal period.
How to withdraw, the exceptions, the model withdrawal form and the refund are described on the Returns page.
Legal guarantee of conformity
Every product we deliver carries the legal guarantee of conformity of OUG no. 140/2021: we answer for any lack of conformity that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery. The guarantee does not cover damage you cause, misuse or normal wear.
How to use the guarantee is explained on the Returns page.
Files you upload
- By uploading a file, you state that you hold the rights to the model, or that the rights holder has agreed to it being printed.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, free licence to store, process and print the file only to fulfil your order. We do not use the file for anything else, and we delete it after the periods given in the Privacy policy.
- If a third party claims compensation from us because your file infringes their rights, you answer to us for the damage caused, as provided by law.
- We may refuse a file that infringes another person's intellectual property rights or the law.
- We print the file as you sent it and do not edit it. Once production has started, the order can no longer be changed.
The 3D modelling service
On request, we design a 3D model from the description and the images you send us. We send you a quote with the price, and the contract is formed when you approve it. Modelling is a service made to your specifications: you can cancel it free of charge until the work starts; after that you can withdraw within 14 days of approving the quote, paying, if you expressly asked us to start the work, an amount in proportion to the work done up to the withdrawal. Once the service has been fully performed you can no longer withdraw, provided that when you approved the quote you expressly asked us to start the work and confirmed you know you lose the right of withdrawal.
On request, we email you the files of the model designed for you. We assign to you the economic rights of copyright in the model and these files: the right of reproduction, the right of distribution and the right to modify them and make derivative works, for any purpose, commercial included, worldwide and for the whole term of protection of the rights; the price of the modelling includes this assignment. 3D Coco keeps the right to show the work as an example in its portfolio.
Prohibited orders
3D Coco does NOT print weapons, firearms or any object of an illegal nature. Any order placed for that purpose will be cancelled immediately, and the amount paid is refunded in full.
Liability
We answer for the products we make, as the law provides. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our fault, nor the liability for defective products under Law no. 240/2004, nor the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
A part printed from your file is made as you designed it. We answer for the quality of the print, not for the design of the part, nor for whether it suits a use we have not agreed with you (for example, as a load-bearing or safety component).
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter (for example, the delivery address) and for keeping your account password confidential.
Neither party answers for a failure to perform caused by force majeure, as provided by law. We tell you without delay, and if delivery runs past the announced time, you can cancel the order and we refund the full amount you paid.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page. A change applies only to orders placed after it is published: an order is governed by the terms in force on the date it was sent.
These terms were last updated on 21 October 2026.
Complaints, applicable law and disputes
You can send us any complaint at team@3dcoco.ro, with the order number and a description of the problem. We answer without undue delay; a repair or replacement under the legal guarantee is made within 15 calendar days at most of the date you told us.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you can turn to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use the ANPC's alternative dispute resolution procedure (SAL), on the platform reclamatiisal.anpc.ro (opens in a new tab).
These terms and the contracts concluded on the site are governed by Romanian law. Disputes that are not settled amicably are decided by the competent courts of Romania. As a consumer, you keep every right that the mandatory provisions of the law give you, which a contract cannot set aside.
Copyright
The content of this site is protected by copyright (Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights). Any infringement is sanctioned as the law provides.
You can read more about this law here (opens in a new tab).
Using our name and brand, the texts shown, the design elements of the site and the parts we designed without our consent is forbidden, except for the files and models whose rights we assigned to you under a modelling contract (see The 3D modelling service).
